Our Clarissa gown is so very figure-flattering with the modified lace cap sleeves, pleated ruched bodice, and corset back. There is a beautiful beaded floral detail at the waist. The silhouette falls nicely into a court train. There are so many things you can do with accessories to make Clarissa your own. We offer this gown to you in light ivory as shown in the model photos. It can be made for you and ready to ship in approximately 6-7 weeks.
MEASURING - SIZING: Use the size chart and our measuring guide to select your size Do not be alarmed if the size you order for your wedding gown is different from the size you normally wear. If your measurements fall into more than one sizing category (example: a size 4 bust and size 8 waist), use the larger size and plan for alterations in the area where the dress might be too large. The size chart measurements are for reference to your body, not the garment. Measuring yourself at home can be trickier than you think. It is best to have a friend or family member with a sewing background, or, a professional seamstress, take your measurements. Considering that brides come in all shapes and sizes, rarely do wedding gowns come in as a perfect fit. Brides should plan and budget for alterations so that her gown fits precisely as she desires.

CUSTOM CUTTING: This particular gown can be custom cut with an additional week of production time. Custom-cutting is a good option for tall, petite, or hard-to-fit brides. We also recommend custom cutting for gowns that have a scalloped, horsehair, or beaded hemline. While custom-cutting can get you closer to a perfect fit, brides should still plan for minor alterations. You will need to provide your bust, waist, hip, and hollow-to-floor measurements with your custom-cut order. Brides should also know the heel height of the shoes she plans to wear. If you are trying to save money on alterations, look for gowns with a corset back, minimal beading (especially at the hemline), and sleeveless or short sleeves. If you are ordering this dress as a custom cut, please select custom cut from the size dropdown menu and submit your measurements in the personalization box. Please do not select a standard size and submit measurements for custom cutting. This will confuse things and slow down your order.

BRIDES BEWARE: Seller copied a dress by designer Justin Alexander - what I unwittingly purchased was a poor imitation of the pictured dress (which I later found was used from the designer's web page by doing a reverse image search - design #8815). When I had originally contacted the seller when the dress didn't match my expectations, they were extremely accusatory and then tried to coerce me into not leaving a review if I agreed to a (reduced) refund. I had to take my case to and I also emailed the designer - based on the message I received back, this seller is probably going to get sued.
Buyer received dress in mid-February, had it for over a month, claimed to have not opened the box until last week and expects everyone to believe she was too busy to look at her wedding dress for over 30 days. The coercion/extortion came from bride when she sought money & dangled the fact that she had not yet left her review. When we unsuccessfully tried working with her, bride opens case citing a photo provided by one of our former production partners was a discontinued Justin Alexander (JA) dress. We had no idea of this ever being a JA dress, and was not aware that the production team had a previous relationship with JA. We also listed several non-model photos of the actual dress on a mannequin. This is now irrelevant as we had already discontinued the dress before the bride came to us seeking money.
